I really want to include the TMNT/CreeD crossover into the CreeD omnibus, but I just found out that nickalodeon has purchased all ownership of the characters for TMNT. Im pretty sure that Mirage would have let me do it, theyve always been really cool to talk to, and work with. But my dealings with Nickalodeon are really limited. Outside of hanging out with a few animators, and licensing an option to them for a show, I dont know anyone over there. I really dont think theyre going to let me print this book.
I dont know. Heres to hoping that my habit of falling ass backwards into good fortune hasnt run out!

Damn, dude. That sucks. Good luck though; I'd really want the omnibus to be complete! Even if i already have those issues :P

Great. MTV/Nickalodeon/Viacom owns the Turtles, and one of the Creed comics because of it. Maybe when they let the MAXX come out on DVD you'll get the rights for the Turtles. You should keep going with the project anyway and keep Utopiate! That series is awesome!

Yes. I emailed Dan, and he got back to me very quickly. Its unfortunate that I attempted to acquire the permission to reprint that book after Jan. of this year. I think it may work out though! I have to stay hopeful.

Wondering if this will fit under the Mirage / Viacom clause of :: "Laird Reserves the right to allow publication of 18 TMNT comics per year."
